Experience what throwing on a pottery wheel feels like. Take it for a spin.
Come and enjoy a couple hours of wheel throwing fun! Come solo or bring a friend. This is an open friendly environment. Anyone 14 and over is welcome to join. No need to bring anything with you.
NOTE!!!: Want to keep a pot? For an additional $25.00 + tax, we’ll trim and glaze it for you. You can pick up your finished piece 3 weeks after your class.
What you’ll learn:
What it’s like to make a pot using a pottery wheel.
- How to operate a pottery wheel
- Stick a lump of clay on the wheel
- Center clay
- Throw a pot
Duration:
- 2 Hour Single Session
Experience & Requirements:
- No experience necessary
- Age 14+
What’s provided:
- Around 4 lumps of 1-1.5 lbs of clay
- Instruction & demonstration on how to throw on a potter’s wheel

Cancelation & Refund Policy
To request a cancellation and refund, email info@throwandbuild.com. Refunds requested more than one week prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within one week of the first class are 50% refundable. There will be no refunds once the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later multi-week class. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session.
